Your leadership journey within Spinnaker Speakers starts with recognising that without dedicated, voluntary team members taking responsibility for building the club, there is no club and there is no opportunity for members to grow their public speaking nor leadership skills in the club environment.

It is in the very process of building the club that members come to realise what true leadership is.

You build the club for it’s members, and in the process you grow and develop as an individual. Your growth and new capabilities are your reward, to be utilised in your new future. You mould and sculpt yourself, through service to others, and develop who you are as a result. Your entire mindset, your skills, your confidence, your wisdom, creativity, beliefs, values, conscience and intuition all grow and transform in the process. You grow psychologically.

You create new futures and impact the lives of everyone. The members benefit, the club benefits, wider society benefits and ultimately, you benefit and become the leader that your destiny demands of you.
